I love this style of post! The encouragement to simplicity is so welcome, and I'm inspired by your nighttime routine. I've been wanting to do more of that slow, in-bed reading. And ugh I feel you about acne, I'm dealing with a resurgence of it. Do you mind sharing the name of the serum you're using?

I’m glad you enjoyed it!! And ugh it’s always so confusing and frustrating when acne returns. The serum is called Golden Hour and it’s from Urban Farm. I think it’s like $30ish but it lasted me three months before I had to buy more!

I really enjoyed this read!

Ok so face wash also took me forever to figure out until I settled on brown sugar (exfoliant) + olive oil. It’s also very inexpensive. I’m glad you have a good system going!

And thanks for sharing about the Brewers diet. My friend recently told me about it, and how it helped with her pregnancy nausea/vomiting. I’m trying to move my diet in that direction, not pregnant, but nursing and have been doing this for nine years. My body could use some nutrition haha.

You framed the devotional so well - reading along with someone else!

Anyway, thanks for sharing! God bless!

I haven’t heard of that combo!! Do you just make it at home? I love the simplicity.

Yes!! Brewers technically doesn’t need to followed in the first trimester but should be implemented by 12 weeks. It’s also recommended for the first 4 months postpartum. But I’m sure while nursing it’s helpful too. I lost more weight than I wanted to nursing the first go around and I think this diet would help a lot! Especially with all the milk, protein, and carbs it requires! If you’re not pregnant/worried about pregnancy complications it doesn’t need to be followed as strictly but I love the guidelines it gives.

Yes, I just use some Tupperware that I can scoop it out of with my hands. A plop of sugar, kind of cover with oil, really not scientific haha.

Thanks for the extra info on Brewers! I’m glad it’s helping you!
